**Q: Is this non-GMO?**
A: Shows Non-Gmo on the left bottom of the label on the front. It is not however certified by The Non-Gmo Project and I have recently discovered it is made from Corn. Now Brands has issued a Non-Gmo statement and is a great brand.

**Q: Is this natural or synthetic sodium ascorbate?  Is it derived from corn?**
A: From my research it does come from corn. It shows Non-Gmo on the label however not certified by the Non-Gmo Project. Also made in a facility that processes other allergens.

Vitamin C is one of the few things I always have on hand and use daily, not just for myself and family but also for my animals. This sodium ascorbate in powder form is easy to use and dissolves almost instantly. It's pure sodium ascorbate and the NOW brand is one I trust and have used for many years. I can't use ascorbic acid so this is perfect and if you are sensitive to the acidity of ascorbic acid, or the tart taste, try this instead. Vitamin C is something every household should always have on hand and is crucial for skin, arteries and all cardiovascular related tissues, eyes, respiratory, you name it. I get the smaller bottles of this during the warm months because of our extreme humidity here in the Midwest. I also prefer the powder over capsules because I can control more precisely and easily how much I'm using and have no waste. Highly recommend NOW products and sodium ascorbate.
