A Superb Way To See and Understand History
A BRILLIANT AND CAPTIVATING BOOK History is often taught in isolated instances and then learnt without understanding the flow of events and especially “cause and effect”. This book solves that problem. The broader view of “what else was happening at the same time” and where? or why? - has captivated my son. MY SON CANNOT PUT THE BOOK DOWN..MENTION A DATE AND HE DIVES INTO THE BOOK.

Beautifully illustrated...
It's a large volume, perfect for the coffee table. Supposed to be for kids, but as an adult I love it--a great way to peruse the events in history.

I wish I had such great books when I was a child
It's a great book that has taught my two elementary school kids a lot of cutting-edge scientific knowledge. We also have a little baby at home who can't read the text, but he enjoys looking at the pictures and is very happy.
