As others have said, the actual sizes are Small: #70 (1 Tbsp); Medium: #40 (1.5 Tbsp); Large: #20 (3 Tbsp). **Q: Is this good for an ice cream scoop?** A: This is a food disher, which is not the same thing as an ice cream scoop. It may work for awhile but eventually you will bend or break it. It is meant for portioning softer foods, like sauces, potatoes, stiffer batters and doughs, that sort of thing. For ice cream you want a scoop specifically for that. **Q: Are these good for scooping out cupcake batter?** A: It depends on the size of the cupcake batter. This will make a medium size ball of cookie dough, cupcake batter might be a little runny for this and these might be too small. It seems like this is the wrong tool for the job. It would scoop more efficiently than a spoon, less efficiently than a ladle. **Q: Can the small scoop be used to make melon balls?** A: Yes, we've used the larger scoops to make watermelon balls without any issues. ## Frequently Bought Together - OXO Good Grips Large Cookie Scoop, Multicolor, Large - OXO Good Grips Small Cookie Scoop Black/Silver --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.uk/products/3667969-oxo-good-grips-large-cookie-scoop-multicolor-large](https://www.desertcart.co.uk/products/3667969-oxo-good-grips-large-cookie-scoop-multicolor-large) --- *Product available on Desertcart United Kingdom* *Store origin: GB* *Last updated: 2026-11-08*
