The bass is full and the higher notes have nice clarity. Sound emits from the front and back and can produce a lot of sound to fill a room. I found the software set-up to be initially challenging in the WIFI mode (the WIFI mode works only through an iPhone or iPad using a free MUZO app), but now that I can navigate the MUZO app I'm consistently getting it to work. I believe that in the bluetooth mode (or direct hookup) it can play from any device that has bluetooth capability (or a USB port).The customer service was excellent from the seller, as they were very responsive when my package showed up damaged and empty whereas Amazon who fulfilled the order could not be reached.I have also purchased the Anker model of the same size (sans the WIFI option). IMO the sound is richer on the rocboc, while the Anker has an easier set-up and operation ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great little speaker instructions are horrible. *by A***T on May 1, 2017* Sounds great and has a great Wi-Fi antenna so has a great Wi-Fi range. It remembers the name it's given in the MUZO app which is great. The instructions that come with it are horrible and obviously written by someone with very poor English skills. Getting the speaker setup on the Wi-Fi network is hit or miss till you figure out you need to wait a good 2 minutes part the part where you get the tone that you assume is it trying to connect. I just follow the instructions. It is heavy duty and very well made product. The sounds is very nice. I connect it to my phone using bluetooth and use Pandora app for music. It works really great. I love the sounds of this little speaker. Little but the sounds is really loud and very nice is my ears. I am very happy of what I paid for it.
