You don't need a lot of essential oil with this diffuser. A little goes a long way so start with small amounts. You can always add more.The design is stylish and works in a living room, den, bedroom or in your office.We used this in the living room with a citrus blend scent. It is very refreshing to walk into the room and smell the scent. You can adjust the amount of mist you want released. Depending on your room size you may want to increase or decrease amount so scent does not get to be too much.The diffuser appears to be well made. My living space is about 515 square feet and I can smell it in every room. It is a decent size and the colors are so soothing. The mist is efficient . I will probably never use a "heated" oil warmer again. Plan on buying another one. The timer feature is so convienent- set it and forget it.. The only con is that the top does not securely lock in. If you have children just put it on a shelf..
