Work flawlessly on mains or smaller diameter cable, neat cuts, strip many inner cables in one go
Wow! These are excellent and so useful to have in the tool bag. As soon as I opened the package I was really impressed by the quality of the materials used and the overall construction. Couldn't wait to try them so grabbed a length of UK mains socket twin and earth and gave them a go. Straight out of the package with no adjustment necessary, one 'click' and the outer sheath was stripped quicker, neater and easier than I've ever managed with a knife. Nice! Laid the inner cables into the grippy blade bit and pulled the trigger again - WOW! Inner cables stripped to perfection. Tried the blade for cutting a full bit of twin and earth next - no problem, straight through it nice and neat. How on earth did I ever manage to sort electrics out without these? This is a super easy 5 stars from me and I've only had them 20 minutes! These are going to save me so much time and hassle with the sockets I've got to rewire.

Great for crimping and cutting
I bought these for crimping aluminium sleeves on a wire trellis I was building in the garden (which it worked well for), but the really standout feature is the wire cutter function. It cleanly and relatively easily cut through vinyl coated 7x7/2cm wire, doing a much better job than the purpose-built small wire cutters that I had on hand.

Better than the original C.K. ones
After a bit of a bad experience with C.K. Tools, whose UK customer service left a LOT to be desired (basically they told me I needed to sort it out with the reseller when it was clearly a manufacturing / quality control issue - I'm sure they are technically / legally right, but they should take more pride in their products right?) I decided to get these. I paid £11.99 in July 2023 which seems extremely cheap, so I wasn't expecting much. In fact, I had only just purchased (and then replaced the brand new and broken) my second pair of C.K. strippers. To be clear, I had a pair of C.K. for 15 years and was never amazed by them, but they were decent. The little depth stop broke on my old pair within the first few months, but I never felt the need to use it, so it didn't bother me. They eventually gave up the ghost after 15 years, I bought a new pair which didn't work properly, C.K. refused to speak to me, the shop where I bought them exchanged them for another set which are okay, then I bought these cheapo ones on Amazon just to see if I preferred them. And I really do. Price is only a few quid cheaper than the "original" C.K. ones, but already after having used them only a few times, I VASTLY prefer the design of this. Firstly the handle is far more comfortable owing to the rubberised grip. If I'm being honest, I always thought a rubber grip wasn't important, in fact perhaps I'd prefer them slightly slippy. But no, the rubber grip is far nicer to use. Makes it more enjoyable and definitely more comfortable in the hand. Time will tell whether the rubber grip keeps its shape and feel. Secondly the depth stop, which hasn't broken yet, is a FAR better design out of the box. It has a spring, and you can kind of twiddle / control it with your right hand whilst holding them only in the right hand (i.e. one-handed) which you definitely can't do with the C.K. Far better when you realise you left it in a position, then realise you need more depth, but you're holding a wire in your left hand, up a ladder etc. There's a little spring release mechanism in the depth stop, which is fun - flick it, and it gets out of the way. Nice! Also the depth stop is more chunky, and see-through. I can't think of any functional reason for the transparent design, but it looks cool. Finally - most importantly - the cutting jaw has a little gripper with a square shape, FAR FAR better than the design of the C.K. which just grips it in the main part of the gripper. Sorry if that doesn't make so much sense, but the result is that you can strip e.g. Twin & CPC (or any double insulated cable) much closer to the end of the stripped sheath, which makes it far better in my book. Also this chunky square shape seems to grip far better, meaning it doesn't slip - something my first C.K. strippers rarely did, but the newer ones I bought seem to do a bit too much. So yeh - even though I have a brand new pair of C.K., I just instinctively go to use this cheaper pair now. Fair warning - I have no idea if the materials will last well. If they last only for a year or so without parts falling off, then it will have been a false economy as the C.K. ones should last 10 years based on my previous experience. But here's hoping they will last, as I do prefer them out of the box!

They are ok for the price but don’t expect great
They are ok. I was expecting better to be honest after the reviews but they are just ok. For 1/2 the price of the Stanley I’ll keep for now. The strip lengths in inches is confusing, but seems they all are and the quality of the cut ok but not great on the outers. The use of the dial is confusing and explained nowhere and the length stop is very fragile.

Excellent Quality and Easy to Use
I recently purchased this KAIWEETS KWS-103 wire stripper, and I’m really impressed with its performance. The build quality feels solid and durable, and the grip is comfortable to use for longer periods. It cuts and strips wires very cleanly without damaging them, which is exactly what I needed for my electrical work. The multi-function feature is very useful — cutting, stripping, and crimping all in one tool saves time and effort. It works smoothly with different wire sizes, and the adjustment is easy. Overall, it’s a great value for money product. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable wire stripper for regular use.
