What can cause this problem?** A: If you have a door sensor for the garage door, you may have something blocking it on the front end of the garage. Clear any obstructions blocking the sensor eyes. Otherwise, run the garage door while observing the limit switch assembly. You will notice that the two outer white screws can adjust the range of the garage door. If you run the garage door and observe these screws from the inside of the garage, you should be able to see what is causing the garage to come back up. If both of these solutions fail, look at your garage door manual for troubleshooting the door. There may be another adjustment that you need to try. **Q: What are the color wires go what colors go were** A: there are directions on how to connect the wires in the book that comes with it and the white is the ground with the red being the HOT. there should be something on the inside of the cover with instructions. **Q: Door works perfectly w/ this part. Except lights on the garage door opener won't shut off any more. Is this simply coincidental? Any ideas to fix?** A: I would make sure your ground wires are all connected to either the new part and/or the circuit board still. Make sure the leads have no corrosion too.
