The foot doesn't slide around, the fit is great, and they are so easy to clean if they get muddy. Just hose them off. I also love that the sole is fairly minimal and is flexible enough to not impede my daughter's stride. She loves being barefoot and while these are not that, they are the closest I've found. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ great sandel *by L***8 on August 26, 2014* i bought these at the start of summer and was a little hesitant because of the mixed reviews. my daughter is two and she loves them becuase she can put them on and take them off herself. they have held up extremely well and didn't give her blisters or anything.it is a different material than Teva normally uses, that's for sure. but the price is lower and they are very easy to wash. she wears them in and out of the water and they are great. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good shoe for water activities, excellent price for Teva product! *by K***. on April 11, 2015* Purchased these for my 2 1/2 year old. It took some convincing to get her to try them on because they are so very different than the normal shoes she wears day-to-day. Once she accepted them, however, she loved them. The only minor issue we found is because they are a little long for her, we have to make sure she doesn't try to run in them...she tried once and immediately tripped and fell. Our main reason for purchasing these sandals, however, are for trips to the lake or river this summer where our daughter will be playing in the water. When we tried them out by our backyard pool, we were very pleased that they provided good traction, even on a wet patio. They do run a little big both in length and width--our daughter currently wears a 6.5 to 7 in other shoes but the size 6 sandal is still pretty roomy on her.
