Paired it with the matching deore 11 spd clutched derailleur and installation was great. Shifts are quick and responsive and the build quality feels solid. This is of course not very helpful. It's not the vendors' fault either.As a result the listing is very unclear about whether the SL-M5100 shifter you are getting has the visual gear position display, or not. Some of the pictures show the display, others do not.I got one without the display - which is what I was hoping.
