The whole process is clearly shown in the product description video which is well done. Changing patterns is like a piece of cake. Although I'm not sure of the number of patterns (as I haven't counted them), I'm sure there are enough patterns to get the job done for most people. I feel the plug-and-play nature removes the dependency on a mechanic for its installation. It is a tiny bit pricey, but I hope the longevity will justify the price. Overall the first impression is excellent, and the build quality is good, though the durability / water resistance remains to be seen. I will hopefully write a long-term review soon.
