Need I say more? ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent tap *by A***B on March 9, 2022* While being the lowest price 1/8-27 tap on Amazon, it's also better than many of the much more expensive ones because it's made of High Speed Steel instead of "carbon steel". High speed steel has much better resistance to heat and wear as well as being much harder than carbon steel, resulting in a tap that will cut cleaner, more consistent threads, for much longer. Taps need to be incredibly hard, much more so than most tools, and HSS in my opinion is the bare minimum when it comes to materials for taps.
