## Description

An innovative fit for a variety of kitchens and tasks, this Simplice bar or prep sink faucet combines an elegant, universal design with exceptional ergonomics and functionality. The high-arch swing spout rotates 360 degrees, while the smoothly maneuvering sprayhead pulls down into the sink for up-close tasks, or out of the sink to fill pots. Review: There are three key features I love about this faucet - I purchased this because I installed Granite Counter Tops into my kitchen. I went with this one because it could be installed with a single hole in the counter. A lot of other types require two or more to fully connect. The faucet is built well and the water controls are smooth as can be. I intentionally skipped over the models that had the "automated" functions built into them. I've known many people who have had those kind and after the novelty wears off they never use it. So I saved myself the extra bucks and went with this. There are three key features I love about this faucet: 1. The magnetic spray head. Other faucets I've had have always relied on gravity from the weight on the hose of the sprayer to hold it in place. In some cases that works but it's never a solid fit. Since there are magnets in the faucet head it connects to the fixture really well. It will click right into place. 2. The jet sprayer. Other faucets that I've owned have only had a full spray on it. The problem with this in most cases is that it's not a focused stream so it doesn't do much in regards to cleaning off the dishes. It works well for rinsing but that's about it. The jet sprayer creates a clean line of individual jets that do a good job and getting stuff off the dishes without scrubbing. Case in point, last night we made something in our Crockpot and there is always food caked onto the side. The water jet function took the majority of the cleaning work out of this process. 3. Pivot connector on the spray head. Conventional faucets have a hose that connects directly to the spray head. This is fine in most cases but if you need to use the sprayer in a different angle then straight it causes a problem. The pivot on this makes it a lot easier to go through dishes and to rinse out the sink when the job is done. As a mention. There is a button on the spray head that stops the flow completely. This allows you to stop the water flow to move the nozzle to a pot of sorts and fill it up. I use this every once and a while since I don't use large stock pots very often. The install was real easy. It comes with the "3 hole base" if you have existing drill hols in the counter. I'd recommend this to anybody who wants a clean look in their kitchen.
Review: Great product - I couldn’t be more pleased with this faucet. Yes, it’s pricy but worth it. I wanted something I’d never have to replace and I think I’ve found it. I had some concern with the chrome finish but it’s really easy to keep clean. As we have a double sink, I didn’t want a huge goose neck faucet. This one sets nicely and looks great. We especially like the pull down faucet head and firm docking action. In addition, this faucet generates at least 30% more pressure than my previous Delta faucet. Also, the power booster is no joke. It really does add noticeably more pressure. Yup, you get what you pay for. At least with this product.

**Q: Is there a way to slow down the Sweep Spray function to be able to use it like a more gentle spray?**
A: Yes! You can adjust the water flow down with the faucet handle to a mere trickle before pressing the sweep spray button in order to get as delicate a mist as you want.  I use the gentle spray to water my orchids and other delicate house plants.

**Q: Is the entire fixture--including the retractable spray head--made from metal, not plastic? I have found plastic spray heads to not be durable.**
A: The unit is still functioning perfectly.  The "hose" part of the pull-out feature is a very heavy woven material.  I am not sure what it is made of but it shows no stress or wear.  The only plastic parts that are visible to the user are the plastic dots where you switch between a flow to a spray.  Occasionally I have to clean the head of the unit to clear the holes of the spray and flow.  I soak it in vinegar to clean.  Since I use rain-harvested water only, calcium build-up is not a problem so the cleaning is a very infrequent event.

**Q: Can you install this faucet without the base plate?**
A: Yes, we have installed this faucet in three locations without the base plate.  Works perfectly and obviously, we like the faucet!

**Q: Does anyone know what the pulldown part of this faucet is made of?  I"m concerned it is made of plastic.**
A: the outer casing is metal - same material as the rest of the faucet. There is a plastic collar/fitting inside the flexible pull-down part that fits snugly up into the fixed part of the faucet. It's a nice faucet. No issues with mine

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great faucet; no regrets

I purchased this faucet to replace a Moen that failed after 8 years. I specifically wanted to try a different brand. I also purposefully selected the K597 model since it is smaller than the 596 and I was concerned that the gooseneck would be too overwhelming and that the height of the nozzle would create sink splatter. I installed myself in a single hole application. Great --easy and smart installation; well thought out --hardware seems solid/well-made --functions as expected --easy side to side swing motion --easy on/off hot/cold controls --easy spray/stream/pause --no leaks or issues or defects after 1 week's use (I will update this post if I find one) Not So Great --in spray mode, a single stream is misdirected out from its peers and it looks silly --despite getting the 597, there is still some splatter. I think this is just a function of the higher nozzle which tempts you to do work at a higher level, but it may also be the combo of my sink deplth (8 inches) and the nozzle height --why matte black? where's oil-rubbed bronze, which I would have preferred? I ended up with stainless steel and it's fine. --the nozzle reach is probably a foot, foot and a half from the sink after adding the weight. still useful --the weight was not strong enough to retract the nozzle to my satisfaction. I added the weight from the old sink as well and am happy with the retraction now. I would recommend this product.
