It helped with ventilation and kept my face warm which is why I bought it. Previously, I used a makeshift scarf to act as a face mask so it was time to upgrade. It's great quality and the design is pretty awesome. I'm a small person so this mask was a little large on me. The velcro made it easy to adjust but it was a little hard to center the mask. It shifts slightly as I slide it up and down. It is hard to talk to others with because they won't be able to hear you.
