After a year the battery appeared to have died and I was contemplating discarding it but decided to take it out out of the charging cradle and attach the unit directly to the power cable, left it a day to charge and this action fully recharged the battery it's now cutting like a dream. Review: The Andis T-Outliner is a well known beard trimmer, if not the best in the industry, however i find the cordless version overpriced and it doesn't even work as well as the Andis Slim Line Pro Li (at least in my experience) which is priced at less then half. The Andis Cordless T-Outliner clipper is quiet yet sturdy and gives you a lovely close shave. I found it to be the best for that close shave and neat lines without marking, cutting or burning my skin when I shave as I have a very sensitive skin. Overall, I am very happy with my clipper although surprised that it is expensive in comparison to the traditional wired Andis T-Outliner and similar clippers.
