**Q: what is the diameter of the straw?**
A: I do not have a micrometer so I had to try to measure with a little 6 inch ruler, so these measurements are not precise but I believe they're pretty close:
Inside diameter:  7/32 inch or 6 mm     Outside diameter:  11/32 inch or 9 mm

**Q: How long are these straws?**
A: The straws are 9 3/4 inches long.  So far, we are happy with these replacement straws.

**Q: does this work on a 40oz hydroflask?**
A: Yes, they worked fine for my mother

**Q: Will they fit my 32oz, 18/8 stainless hydro flask bottle?**
A: I don’t see why not, you’ll just have to cut it to fit the depth of the bottle. That is true for any Hydro Flask brand straw as well.

These straws are thick and sturdy, but also easy to cut to size. They are flexible rather than rigid, which makes them easier to fit even if you don't cut them quite short enough. They also come with cleaning brushes, which is important when you use the straws frequently, as I do.
