Rig   PIzza Stone - All XL Grills  Large Adjustable Rig - Large Big Green Egg® and VisionTM Grills   The 16" Round Ceramic Stone is a multi-purpose stone for the Large and XL grills.  Used for extended coverage in Large grills during big, indirect, low & slow BBQ cooksUsed for reduced coverage in XL grills during small, indirect, low and slow BBQ cooks.  Airflow is 360 degrees around the entire stone. There are no legs to channel or impede air movement. On Large grills, the stone needs to be positioned above the grill's fire ring or firebox. Can be positioned anywhere on XL grills.  Best to set the stone while the cooker comes to temperature to prevent thermal shock Recommended uses are:  creating a raised, indirect set-up for low & slow BBQ cooks on the Adjustable Rig baking/grilling pizza atop the Rig or Rig Extender; creating an indirect set-up on the XL Spider or XL Woo;  Don't forget to add a barrier between the stone and pizza dough, so the dough does not stick to the stone. Corn meal or parchment paper works for a barrier. 16" diameter, 5/8" thickness Ceramics are high refractory, mullite/cordierite formula. Matching 16" Stainless Drip Pan available.
