We would recommend contacting the manufacturer (Polylok, Inc.) on using this product on other pipe types not mentioned in their specs. **Q: I need to clean the filter every 6 weeks, otherwise the tanks over fills. The good news the filter works keeping drain filed clean. Is this normal?** A: Every 6 weeks is not normal. The good news is that it is doing it's job.
