It s actually very nice and works well when traveling but since it is the same size as the screen, it is cramped. Well, my pc at home crashed and burned and I was looking at PC's and then remembered I have the Go at home. I thought that will get me by for a bit. So, I got a USB C add on with USB hook ups and am now using my Go as my primary PC. AND it's working. I do NOT do anything intensive so for basic word apps and web browsing, I'm not even going to get another PC....but the keyboard was not going to work for the long haul and I remembered Microsoft had these. So, I read the reviews and hesitantly bought one. It is fanstastic. After years at work I find the action of this keyboard to be very satisfying. NONE of the "issues" others have noted have bothered me or even been noticed. The typing is instant and I love having a complete keyboard in front of me with the number pad. It appears to be well built and I love the bluetooth connection as this is my first bluetooth keyboard. Awesome. I don't use in the dark so don't care about a lighted keyboard. Does anyone have a solution to fix this? My laptop comes with windows 10** A: I'm having the same issue. It craps out after 10-30 minutes and I have to reboot. Very VERY frustrating. I've gone through 2 different USB bluetooth transmitters, moved my wireless router to the other side of the room, and disconnected other radio devices. Apparently, the bluetooth connection in the keyboard itself is insanely weak for such an expensive keyboard. I'm going to try buying a Bluetooth Category 1 transmitter (10 times more powerful than the usual transmitter) and give it one more shot. I suspect the MS test lab uses them, and had no idea they were releasing such a crap product.Just to be meta, I started this comment on the Surface keyboard but it crapped out again. I had to finish typing this on my Logitech, which cost half as much and has no problems like this at all. **Q: Is this backlit and Bluetooth?** A: I've got the keyboard and it isn't backlit, but it is Bluetooth. For a similar backlit keyboard (also Bluetooth), I recommend the Logitech K810. **Q: How do you switch between devices? Does it have a button that lets you select device 1 or 2 or 3...** A: You cant. Worth any penny ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had low expectations since it's made by Microsoft, but pleasantly surprised *by M***E on October 18, 2019* I bought this keyboard in February, along with the matching Microsoft Surface Precision Mouse. Typically I'm not a fan of these chiclet style keyboards. I use a Ducky One 2 Mini at home and prefer that for personal use. I use this all day at work, lots of linux shell, command line work so I wanted a 10 key. I like the low profile, the build quality, battery life. Even the integrated windows buttons come in handy now and then. It's light and thin, I actually carry this back and forth to work every day. I wish they had a hardshell case for it, but right now I just toss it in a neoprene zipper case. It connects flawlessly every single morning without fail, I haven't had any ghosting or delay issues. I've changed the batteries about 3 times since February, but it does get heavy usage. It does not have a physical "off" switch so sometimes it's in my backpack and keys occasionally get bumped.
