It is made of premium, repurposed Napa leather for weight reduction and environmentally responsible. The leather is prepared to my specification to keep it stays newer longer than any case here on Amazon. The entire case is hand-made in my workshop in San Jose, California. It takes 4-8 square foot of leather, 3 yards of polyester thread, a day of prepping, two days of curing, and 35 years of leatherwork to complete your case. Solid Edge The case is made with a process I developed I called, Solid-Edge. The outer edge of your case is treated, glued, sewn, painted, and then cured for 48 hours before the case goes in the mail to its owner. Solid-Edge application is tedious and time consuming. Benefit of Solid Edge is hardened edges to maximize protection during an impact. The edges became 5x more rigid when your Mac is inserted. This allows the case to absorb drops and bumps no other sleeve can. Engraving My cases are made for you. It only makes sense to have YOUR NAME engraved on it. Engraving your name to your case adds a personal touch to your Mac. I offer two fonts choices for name/initials engraving, Mistral and Myriad Pro.
