Great!
I looked all through Amazon to find a set of tools that would fit my simple needs for computer maintenance. It definitely fits the bill. Fairly inexpensive, compared to some other more "reputable" brands. And it has all the tools that I needed. The case is nice, I haven't noticed any issues with the foam falling off. However, if you don't put the supdgers in properly, they will fall out. But that is not a big deal at all. The screwdrivers themselves are fantastic. They are definitely magnetized and have worked without issue while working on my Macbook and Asus notebooks. I would most definitely recommend this product!

Useful set of repair tools; small kit so be sure it includes all the parts needed
I bought this to easily remove the mainboard from a pair of 2011 Apple Mac Minis, so I could replace the hard drive with an SSD upgrade. All of the drivers have nice handles, and the metal tips are sturdy (not soft tips that will wear out after removing a few screws... yes, that's really a problem with the sub $10 kits from unnamed vendors). Handles all have the Newer logo on them. The case is a medium density foam which accepts the parts snugly... things won't fall out when you unzip the case (although they could if you drop the case a few times). You may need some other parts, depending on your project. For the Mac Mini drive, I also got: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00UNBTM5U If you're not really sure what tools you need, I'd go with the more expensive larger kits, such as from Newer or iFixIt. This was all I needed, and the tools are good enough that they may come in handy some other day..

It works great. The foam that other customers reviewed negatively was ...
Got this the other day to help with replacing my 2011 mbp Hard drive. It works great. The foam that other customers reviewed negatively was glued in place firmly in my case and holds the tools firmly in place. The tips of the screwdrivers are slightly magnetic which helps me a lot because my hands shake. I have always opened up my MBP using my automotive screw drivers but the form factor and the ability of the screwtip to help hold the screw is great. The tweezers are a good heavy gauge of metal (I've gotten some really cheap ones in the past you always have to bend back in shape. Overall a nice kit in a nice case to keep everything together as long as you put it back.

Great with 1 exception
This toolkit has everything you'll need if you're opening up an early 2011 Macbook Pro, just check all the tools, because they aren't actually placed in order (PH by PH), or they weren't in the set I received. Everything else, from the nylon pry tools, PH 00 and the T6 screwdriver are just what you need. Overall, these are really great with one exception which would have raised the overall rating to 5 stars. I was willing to pay more for this kit than some of the other kits because it has a nice case to hold them in. Unfortunately, the quality of the foam/glue inside the case is really abysmal. The foam is loose and will come up when you go to remove a tool from its clutches. Because the case was the primary deciding factor in my decision to purchase this set over a cheaper one and it doesn't work as it should (although I may be able to fix it with a better glue), I knocked it down a star since I shouldn't have to fix a manufacturing defect. That being said, I still like the case. Too bad the glue sucks.

Renewing a slightly misplaced set from 2011 because they are great tools.
I owned one of these that I purchased from Other Wold Computing online back in 2011 when I made the mistake of purchasing apple products and not wanting to pay their extra price for cheaper made SSD's and ram so I needed to crack open the macbooks. Anyways, through the years they served me greatly. I eventually built my own pc last year (you can see it on my profile through other reviews) and these were perfect for everything I needed. However, I somehow misplaced the case years ago and lost all the extra stuff aside from the green pry tools and screwdriver set. Well, I did misplace one of the screwdrivers too after trying to bring them back from a deployment where I bought the overpriced macbook from while in the military. Since I just moved to another state, I figured it was time to look for some new tools for my next PC build. I ended up keeping it simple and going with the exact same ones I already had because I knew how good they were and I wanted the case for them too. They are magnetic, and everything fits securely in the case. The top red part on the screwdrivers does turn so you can use it in your palm and turn the screwdrivers freely. The pry tools are great. My old ones from 2011 had a little wear on them, so it's nice to have some new ones. But they do last and I could have kept the old one I still had (yes, I misplaced one of those too) I know these tools are not the easiest to find when searching for computer tools or PC stuff, but I highly recommend them over any other ones. I tried one when I got all my pc parts because I thought I would need a static band, but the tools were pure junk. Just keep it simple, be smart, touch the case you are working in and wear gloves when building.

Worked, but Not Great Quality
Finish on tips coming off after first use on the 2 screwdrivers I used. It worked, but already looking dull after 1 use on 1 Macbook Pro. I would prefer to buy a set or individual pieces that are better quality.

Very useful - seems to be a great set
I purchased these recently and used them to disassemble two old laptops to remove the hard drives. It would have been impossible without a set of tools like this. I don't know how they compare to other sets, but I am very satisfied with the quality and selection of tools.

This is a very nice tool kit for the money
I bought this kit to install new RAM and an SSD in my MacBook Pro. Since then I've used the tools for other things as well. At the price, I'm not sure I understand some of the negative user reviews I've read. A professional in the business might want to pay much more for professional quality tools. But for occasional use and at the price, I think this kit is just fine. It sure worked nicely for me and will continue to do so into the future. Yes, I'd recommend it to a friend.
