That said, these are easy to adjust from 5 to 25 lbs in 5 lbs increments, compact, and well designed. They won’t roll away, relatively quite, and the storage tray has cut outs for your fingers so they’re easy to pick up and put away. The plates lock securely and the bar has a nice grip. I eventually bought two and wish I had from the start. I haven’t had them long but I adjust them frequently for different exercises and they definitely seem durable. I bought two of these and haven’t had any horrible experiences yet. Yes it can be a little tricky picking up the weights and putting them back on the base but honestly that’s something to expect with any product that has moving parts like this. The key is to lift the dumbbell straight up and not at an angle. I haven’t had any issues switching to a different weight. And when using them I feel like it’s secure and that nothing would move and possibly drop one of the weights. I like that these come with a base that the barbell sit in. I appreciate the user design that went into this product. The base has finger grips at the bottom to make it easier to pick up and carry both the base and the dumbbell. Overall I’m glad I bought these. Even though you might not be able to get every single possible weight like you would at a gym, it saves so much space having several weights in one. If you are concerned about space then I highly recommend this product. Great customer service!! Shipping was a nightmare except for this dumbbell. Thanks!!I was really excited about these dumbbells when I ordered them, especially when I saw they each go up to 25 lbs. Great! So I bought two, at the same time, in the same order. The first dumbbell was delivered next day. Looks great and works perfectly. The second dumbbell never showed up and had to be reordered TWICE. The second dumbbell was FINALLY delivered 5 days later, and not only did a few of the weights fall onto my big toe, you can’t even turn the middle to change the weights or get any of the discs to lock. I know how to use it - the one that was delivered first is perfect. So I have one dumbbell that works and one useless one, after a ridiculous delivery hassle.
