It would light up a dark room. This blocked most of the light leaving it readable even with room lights are on. The film is very thin and disappeared when it was installed, which was exactly what I wanted.It also cuts easy. You need to be under good lighting to see your cut as the sheets are very dark and shiny.Highly recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked as intended! *by T***A on July 18, 2024* I bought this to dim my very bright new clock, it worked great to take the edge off. Though it is still fairly bright so at night I turn off the light ring and change the numbers to red which does the trick with the dimmer sheet attached. I think two sheets might work better and plan on trying that out. Size wasn't exactly right for this clock (but I knew that since I measured before buying), but I really like that I could just stick it on and not worry about cutting something to fit. It sticks on really well so make sure you line it up right the first time (I did not, lol).
