I’m very happy with this DRILAX diamond drill bit set. The case arrived well-packaged, and the bits were neatly organized and clearly labeled by size (1mm, 2mm, and 3mm). The diamond coating looks even and well-applied, with no visible defects. I used these on glass and ceramic, following the instructions to start at an angle and use water, and they performed exactly as expected. The bits cut cleanly without chipping, and none of them overheated or lost their grit during use. For small, precise holes, they work extremely well. For the price, getting 30 pieces is a great value, especially if you do detailed or repetitive work like crafts, tile, jewelry, or DIY projects. The storage case is also a nice bonus for keeping everything organized. Just be sure to use water and take your time—these bits do a great job when used properly. Bits work well for drilling holes in stained glass. They wear out faster than others Ive used but they come in a nice big pack! Great price and value.

I only actually needed the 1mm bits but it arrived quicker if I got the assorted pack. So from using the 1mm, they are good for natural stones and chips for jewelry making except quartz and other harder stones like tigers eye and garnet. They dull down pretty fast and using a rotary tool have to change the tips out really quick if trying to drill through these said types. I wish they came in either not a coated tip but a welded diamond tip or something else more durable. If coated maybe a more coarse grit?

I’m really happy with the Drilax Diamond Drill Bits set. The variety of sizes is perfect, especially for detailed work, and everything arrived exactly as described. I used them on glass and small stones, and they cut cleanly without chipping when used with light pressure. The bits feel solid and well made, not flimsy or disposable like some other sets I’ve tried. They’re also very easy to use, even if you’re newer to jewelry making or lapidary work. The 1/8 inch shank fits my Dremel perfectly, and the bits stay secure while drilling. With a little water for cooling, they perform smoothly and consistently. Overall, this is a reliable, well thought out set that works exactly as described and is a great addition to any jewelry making or craft setup.

I bought these specifically to drill a small hole in a piece of rock to make a necklace for child’s birthday present. I used a drill press and continued to wet the stone. Within seconds the bit started melting at the tip even with water and got so hot it bent. I tried a second bit and applied water almost constantly and drilled very slowly. The bit was barely scratching the rock but again even with water it started melting off the tip and eventually broke off inside the small rock which also broke when I tried to remove it. Third bit on the same rock I submersed the stone in water and went very slowly in and out and it worked. Maybe these work for glass but definitely not recommended for hard gem stones like agate and jasper unless you submerse it, go very slowly and clear out the hole repeatedly.

Works great, one has lasted so far after drilling holes in about 20 different small rocks and is still good for more. Compatible with my Dremel 4000.

Compatible with ROTARY TOOL good at various speeds, easy to insert bit into Rotary Tool, sharp cuts through beach stones quickly and easily, versatile with the ability to drill through stone and resin. Though, I use stone bits for stone only and the other bit for resin. Label in a zippy so I don’t make a mistake. The diamond bit material metal is strong and durable.. Other bits I purchased did not last long. Same bit used 30 times so far still cutting like butter. Would buy again.

Take your time, start at an angle and then vertically and keep it wet, we drilled in dish of shallow water. Took about 10 mins to go through 4mm of glass, could have been quicker but didn’t want to apply too much pressure .
