Some of the effects are, well, less practical than others, but the real gem here is the bit smasher setting which, like most settings on the pedal, totally alters how all the knobs work. There's an oscillatory function on the Control 2 knob that lets the user dial in the overtone created by bit smashery. This lets you dial it into the octave of the chord you want to focus on, say an E. Very fun interactions with other degrees of the scale in this case.The infinite reverb is quite fun as well - once I fed the infinite reverb a low E, shut my amp off, left it overnight, came back in the morning, turned the amp back on, and the same low E droned triumphantly. No decay or decomposition.Almost all of the effects on this pedal behave in completely unexpected ways. You will find yourself spending hours exploring whacked out tones that defy simple classification. I've been writing a few instrumental pieces lately, and this pedal (especially when paired up with a good delay pedal) has added a lot to the overall sound of each song. After playing around with the BitQuest, my 6-string guitar sounded more and like a keyboard synthesizer, and in the best way possible.
