I thought I would give these a try to start replacing some of the 60 watt incandescent bulbs around my home. I can honestly say, that I can't tell much or any difference in light output than what I was getting out of the old bulbs. These come on instantly at full brightness, unlike many of the compact fluorescent bulbs I have tried.
