The price seems high for the quality of image, considering the alternatives available. Excellent build quality and warranty. As long as you have good light they work great. If you are a hunter needing dawn/dusk viewing, get at least a 40mm objective as these just cannot pull in enough light. However, for taking on vacation, hiking, keep an extra pair in the truck, they are great and compact. They are a little stout on the weight side, but they are built solid from Magnesium alloy so they are not some cheap piece of plastic like most others out there. That's why I bought them! If you are going to wear them around your neck a good bit, I would ditch the factory strap and it is way too narrow for these hefty binoculars.
