Review: After watching several YouTube reviews for the Marantz CD6700, I thought I would give it a try. I have a DENON AVR S970H. A WiiM Pro and using Roon with Qobuz streaming service. I also have Polk XT20, XT30 and XT90 speakers. This is a excellent setup so I was a little sceptical that the sound would improve but it was a huge improvement. The sound was rich and pure. Not only did the CD's sound great, my USB drive with some music in FLAC format sound excellent. If you're looking for a high quality CD player, you won't go wrong with this Marantz CD6700. Miles Davis, Kind Of Blue album in SACD/Hybrid form, the cymbal opening crash in the first track, is so well defined, sparking almost, and you can hear it fade into infinity, something I've never heard before, and I have the vinyl, and the re-mastered CD of this album.
