Klein Tools 69149P Electrical Test Kit with Digital Multimeter, Non-Contact Voltage Tester and Electrical Outlet Tester, Leads and Batteries

For the price, it is a good basic DMM. Mainly have it for checking AC/DC voltages. Seems to work fine and readings are stable. I had an older off brand version that had floating readings and ate 9v batteries. It was about the same price as this, but this is way better and comes with other items. It takes AA batteries instead of 9V, which is preferred by me. The voltage sniffer and outlet circuit tester work as intended. Nothing bad about this set. Works as advertised. I'd buy again.

Love this meter and the ease of use. I’ve used other Klein products and have always been impressed by their quality. This meter Is no different. For general electrical troubleshooting this product will more than suffice. Can beat it for the value.

I bought with the only intention of using on my car's fuse and relay box, but for the price, you get a wall plug check device and power outlet checker. Also Klein tools are always good and I am glad I got now a proper multi-meter in the mix. I am not much of an electrical person, but this just makes it simple, it comes also with great and small instruction how every works.

This Kleinman multimeter set is very adequate for the homeowner and does a variety of jobs. I particularly like the non-contact voltage tester that verifies voltage or the absence of voltage while working on residential electrical systems. Handy for the homeowner or the professional. The outlet tester verifies correct polarity and grounding while the multimeter will work with AC or DC circuits as well as capacitance and resistance. Good value for the price.

Great set to have. Had to replace my first order because the pencil didn’t work. Replacement was easy and the new set works great.

Got this one as a gift for someone who was studying for HVAC. They loved it.

Wonderful set of tools, been used more than a few times around the house to discover who ever wired my house is an idiot.. 100% worth it!

waste of money. unfortunatly did not keep the packaging so could not return. description was not clear, order from Amazon KSA so assumed it will work with 220V. it does not!

The voltage tester works fine and I'm sure the multi meter will as well. But the socket tester is useless for UK sockets. Pretty poor from both Amazon and Klein to sell it this way. It's a real pity, as the items look good quality. Disappointing.

Whilst the multimeter and tester should be fine, the socket tester is NOT UK spec. It shouldn’t be sold on the UK site as suitable. Bought from the Klein store direct so expected better. Too late to return for exchange so close to Xmas 2024
