Glass does get scratched and the nose support bridge is fragile. *by B***B on May 8, 2023* Extremely convenient to carry. I have 4 pairs purchased at different times. Keep one in the glove box of the car and one at office. The plastic lenses do get the "plastic rash" (scratches) over time making them less usable, one of my pairs is pretty much unusable. The nose pinch bridge (pince-nez) - which is the basis of these glasses is not very robust. They tend to break making the glasses unusable. Because of the minima/compact construction, the nose bridges stick out and tend to get stuck in things and break. Two of my pairs have broken nose bridges.
