Review: Ett fint skaft med bra tyngd som ligger bra i handen. Lite svårt att få kraft i skäret dock men det beror mer på mig än på skaftet. Har ett lite kraftigare handtag som jag använder för den typen av jobb.
Review: Now, its fair to say that I'm not a brain surgeon. More of a mechanical one that furtles around the insides of large marine engines and boilers hoping to resurect the dead before the storm hits. However, I am a model maker and of course sharp cutting devices are essential for a clean finish. Now, many of us use the Xacto type knife which, works very well indeed. However, the blades whilst not exepenive are not that cheap either. Step forward the surgeon's tool of choice, the Swan-Morton surgical knife. Comfortable to use and most of all you can get boxes of the disposable blades - which are damned sharp - for not much money. A 100 pack is only a few quid so you can always ensure that you have a razor sharp blade in use when working on your model. As far as I'm concerned for model making this is a no brainer. Always going to be sharp, cheap to buy and if you ever get the itch to change career and take up open heart surgery then you will have the tool skills already ingrained.

**Q: Is this stainless steal?**
A: It appears to be stainless steal - It is also stamped on the handle "STAINLESS" and "Shefield England"  under the name. I use this instead of an Exacto knife for building model planes.

**Q: will a 60xt blade fit this**
A: We are unfamiliar with the 60XT Blade.  If you are referring to the Swann-Morton PM60 Blade, then it is used with the PM8 handle; the placement of the blade is similar to that of a standard blade and surgical handle.  However, it may be unavailable in the US.

**Q: Does this handle work with other (cheaper) blades?**
A: This is the standard #3 small fitment handle - it will work with all small fitment blades, Swann-Morton Blades - Nos. 6, 9, 10, 10A, 10R, E/11, 11, 11P, 12, 12D, 13, 14, 15, 15A, 15C, 15T, 16, 40 and SG3.  If the blades you have do not fit this high quality handle, then they are more likely to be at fault than the handle itself.

**Q: Can this handle be used for #14 blades? the above description doesn’t state #14 but below in the detailed description it shows it will fit a #14 blade**
A: Yes, the #14 Blades will fit this handle - this is the standard handle for Swann-Morton minor range blades

Este soporte para cuchillas del Nº3 en mi opinión, es uno de los mejores que han pasado por mis manos. Es robusto, se ve que los materiales son de calidad, y la hoja en el ni se inmuta. Da gusta trabajar con el, como do para la mano. Cierto es, que es un poco pesado, pero no podía ser perfecto al 100%. No me lo pensaría y lo volvería a comprar, de echo compro el numero 4 también, así tengo la parejita
