Review: It’s surprisingly nice - The scent is earthy but not unpleasant, like a clay like scent. I have an arthritic flair up in a knuckle and the top skin has peeled off revealing new tender skin. This cream, used sparingly, is really nice. It absorbs easily and seems to be non greasy. I use it and really enjoy doing so. Will it work for you? Of course it will!

**Q: looking for comfrey cream**
A: A. Vogel Symphytum Creme from Switzerland is excellent.  Symphytum Officinale is comfrey.

**Q: May I inquire if the expiration date on the product is valid?**
A: I'm not sure if I can answer for sure.  My product came direct from England and its expiration was imprinted on the end of the tube.  I would feel very confident in using this product even if the expiration date had passed.  I use it every day and have never had any issues.

**Q: I'm wondering why people are saying it doesn't have comfrey in it when the botanical name is right there on the package. am i missing something?**
A: It has comfrey in it. Maybe people do no know the latin name.

**Q: Any other ingredients other than the pure comfrey extract?**
A: Aqua (Water), Sunflower Seed Oil, Symphytum Officinale (Comfrey) Extract, Beeswax, Shea Butter, Cetearyl Glucoside, Cetearyl Alcohol, Fragrance, Geraniol, Limonene.  Most of these are binders. I have used this for over 15 years and although I am allergic to many other products, this has never caused any problems.  I really respect Vogel products.
