Sportcraft Anywhere Table Tennis Set

I was looking to play table tennis with my father at our house but I did not want to buy a whole set to just pick up and play. After searching long and far I came upon this Sportcraft set. I was NOT disappointing. First of all, what comes in the set is of very high quality. The set comes with 3 balls which are solid and haven't dented from dozens of *very* hard slams. I bought a set of extra balls and they still haven't been opened yet. The paddles are solid wood and the rubber has not peeled off. Additionally, the plastic for the net is very strong and taut, and it has been abused for a bit with hard shots and springs right back to life. The clamps are solid with a nice rubber protection underneath. It also comes with a mesh pouch for storage that honestly leaves a lot to be desired, but the whole set is small and succinct enough as is that it can be thrown in any bag easily. The net extends *VERY* wide. It should fit any reasonable table width with no problem. The clamps also extend pretty far. The really do mean 2 inches in the description. What is of the utmost importance, however, is that you have a table with a lip around it. This set is springy and you simply cannot just unwind it and play on top of a table. Your table must have a lip of less than 2 inches to work. This shouldn't be a problem for a majority of tables, but if you were to play on a bed or some large granite surface (like a kitchen top) this might be a problem. Just make sure before purchasing that you have a table with edges of less than 2 inches. What is great about the grips is that they are about an inch wide and grip tight, so even if your table/surface does not have perfectly right-angled edges (my table has a 45 degree angle going inward) it will still grip. Overall, I could not be happier with my purchase. I have played this for many hours and it has not relented. It is extremely fun and will withstand a ton of abuse. It's great for going on a trip and using in a hotel room, or (as in my case) keeping around to play on a dining room table with friends come over. And the price makes this hard to beat.

This tennis set turned out to be a great purchase. It works well on our small, rectangle kitchen table. It goes on easy and stays put. I bought this for my daughter's 16th birthday party/sleepover. It gave the kids something to do in my small, boring home. They had a great time and some of the girls did MAD LIBS while waiting for their turns. My kitten loves to play with the balls, she gets on the table while we play and tries to join in. The set comes with a mesh bag to store everything when not in use. I think that the price was a very good deal for a quality product. I recommend this set. I saw other sets with metal screws which could scratch the table and one that has the end pieces set directly on the tabletop which wastes valuable space on the table. This set clamps to the edge of the table without scratching it, which gives you more net length across the table. The net is expandable and retractable which is a GREAT feature. I just hope that after several uses that this feature will not fail because it will be a messy hassle if the net won't go back in or if the net got stuck rolled up inside. I really like this set, it is a good deal, I hope it lasts.

I ordered this Table Tennis Set on November 25, 2011 (Black Friday) and received it on November 30, 2011, using the free shipping option. The first thing that I was really surprised about was that the set was manufactured in 2011, as I figured it was an 'old' item that Amazon was trying to get rid of. On Cyber Monday, the price went up to where it is now! Though an intended Christmas gift, I took the set out of the great packaging and looked it over. It seemed to be well-made and hopefully my nephews will enjoy the set. I gave it 4 stars right now because it has not actually been used. I will update later. This price is still pretty good, as I have seen it on other websites for in excess of sixty bucks.

I bought this table tennis set to use on our dining table, which doesn't get much use. It installs in less than 30 seconds and then you are ready to talk smack to you kids and tell them how you were the ping pong champ in high school and that there is no way they will beat you. It turned our under used dining table in to a fun activity for the whole family. It has been holding up very well and the net stays taught and in place. The paddles are entry level, but this is just for family fun. I use a nicer paddle which I bought a few years ago. When you have guests coming over, it is just as easy to take down and it comes with a nice net bag to store the paddles, balls and net in.

Great for kids to play anywhere. The spring loaded part could not stretch wide enough for a table that is a bit thick. You need to clip onto a board, so you will need to buy a board to place over a thick table. It can not really use it on a normal dinning table (not that you want to play ping pong on a dinning table but why not?). So some limitation but generally OK for use anywhere.

What a piece of junk!!! Don't waste you time or your money. The retractable net quit working on Christmas morning, after 20 minutes of use. What a disappointment to the kids. I will never buy another Sportcraft product ever!

I am disappointed in this product. Not worth the $. I bought it to take places & the 1st time it was used 1 of the paddles broke! It is easy to put on tables BUT it doesn't work on all table surfaces. I would not buy this again or ever tell anyone to get it either. If it was $10 bucks sure then it would be worth it but that's all its worth.

正直、あまり期待していませんでしたが、 想像以上の品でした。 ネットの固定部分がしっかりとバネで止まります。 出してすぐにワンタッチで止められて、かたづけも大変、楽です。 ラケットもしっかりしていて、家庭で遊ぶものにしては 高品質かと思います。

よくできてます。長期間使ったときどの程度かわかりませんが、網を巻き取ることで、コンパクトになります。巻き取りが少し強いので、手動巻き取り式にしてもよかったかも。

ピンポン球がはねる机があれば、そこはもう卓球場! みんなが夢中になって楽しめる! 若い人も、お年寄りも、男でも女でも、そうじゃない人も、楽しくなる!! そんなスペースを一瞬にして作り出す!!!

家族で遊ぶのに最高でした。ちょっとネットが低いのが改善の余地でしょうか。
