Review: Essentially Perfect, For What it's Worth - Aside from a few nitpicks which I'll refer to in this post, the phone I received is pretty much exactly as is detailed in the product description. Face ID works as expected, and out of the box it has a battery health of 86% (not at all perfect, but for a refurbished phone it's pretty good!), which is essentially as described by seller. Both the front and rear cameras work as expected, and so far produce images and videos just as well as if it were bought new from Apple. As expected, the device came with a charger, though keep in mind that (in line with all Apple products nowadays) these are now often sold as USB-C to Lightning cables, as opposed to USB 3.0. For that reason, make sure you have a port/adapter which takes USB-C cables, or have an existing lightning cable you can use. I'm also pleasantly surprised at how visibly clean the phone is - after reading a few reviews on this page for the "excellent quality" version of this refurb, I was expecting to see a few imperfections. Thankfully though, I seem to have gotten lucky. After a few minutes of looking over it, I can't spot a single hairline crack or any points of damage on the edge/back of the phone. Regardless I'd advise caution if this is a concern you have when purchasing, as this has been an uncommon yet known problem with this seller. The only noteworthy issue I have with the product is I sadly didn't receive a pin to open the SIM tray - thankfully I do keep some spare around my house, but had I not, this would've been a pain to sort out. Just in case, I would recommend making sure you have a SIM tray pin/alternative thin metal item, on the off-chance they don't remember to put one in the box for you. As a side point, it's important to be aware that non-Apple approved refurbishment businesses often do not necessarily use OEM (original equipment manufacturer) parts. While this is noted in this product's description, do keep it in mind. This is *very* rarely a problem as non-OEM parts - in my experience - work just as good as original, but they have been known to cause dilemmas. Things like weaker screen glass, less water resistance, and weaker battery overall. Regardless, if you're buying refurbished these can usually be ignored for the lower price. In conclusion, I'd personally recommend this if you're looking for a cheaper device but still want an iPhone/iOS device. Whether it be for the icloud, Apple's ecosystem, or purely for the feel/user experience, it does its job, and does it well. I hope this review helped you come to a decision on your purchase, whether you bought it or not :).
Review: Quality device - Highly durable and it is a very good device. I passed it on to my daughter after few years and is still functioning.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can you add apple care ?**
A: As far as I know, this warranty is only available when purchasing a new iphone from an accreditated Apple dealer.

**Q: Can they item be returned if I change my mind?**
A: Of course you can. When you buy something online it is covered by The Consumer Contracts Regulations as of 13 June 2014

**Q: I bought 12 Pro when camera is facing front it vibrates is this a software issue or does it need returned. Bought it mid jan for 11/2 birthday prezzie**
A: There are lots of posts online regarding this problem. It seems it can be very difficult to cure. I would speak to the seller’s customer services first. If it’s still under return warranty, then I’d return it for a replacement or refund.

**Q: Does the iPhone arrive as unlocked?**
A: Yes all devices are unlocked and will work with any network sim worldwide

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quality device

### ⭐ Renewed=second hand for lifestylers
*by F***N on 18 December 2021*

Still appalling value for money, even second hand, they cost mere pounds to make in volume. Price does not reflect intrinsic value, rather what consumers are prepared to pay, and these days they are prepared to pay what Apple tell them to pay. Economics of capitalism. Go research. Cameras are below market average, whatever the reassuring advertising says, it's just words. All the grand images and videos Apple show in their hype ads are created through software rendering. You can get results like these, and better, from any image source using any editing software, even the free ones. Won't be using these for my professional photographic needs, got a 108 megapixel snapper on another brand for that, the difference really does show. Pleased with handset, perfect except for one small mark on bezel. Battery appears okay, but then the phone is only a year old. Some older models I've recently bought (7 and 8 series) needed replacements (easy to do yourself). Will be used as an iPod, not a phone, iTunes is only music player that plays back mix albums without those tiny gaps between tracks, one thing Apple have always got right. On downside, playlists can occasionally cause problems, some won't switch off and can only be deleted via PC, others cause track title/band display errors, especially with mp3s not bought through Apple, but this is a minor niggle, gaplesss playback is why I bought this, that's probably Apple's crowning achievement. When you've gone Android for your phone needs, you don't go back. Had to buy the 256 GB model, not the 128, because iOS generates a permanent massive "cache" file in use, up to 10gb, which means this chunk of memory storage can't be used for user files, it's a niggle that's been on iPhones since early days and Apple haven't rectified it, probably think they don't need to, blame it on their customers as usual. It used to be part of the "system files" when you check storage use in general settings, now it has its own entry, so at least now you can check how much of your phone's memory storage is unavailable. It's a huge chunk. Don't like the "square edge", revived from the iPhone 5. It's made the handset almost twice as thick as the 11 model, and means removing clear rubber crash cases damages them each time.
