After brewing a single serve cup I just switch it back over to pot and press power and the pot warmer turns back on. My family really enjoys this coffee pot and would buy it again. Currently having an issue with Folgers 1850 Kcup. It seems the bottom piercing needle goes in too far and makes a hole in the bottom of the paper filter inside the cup. The grounds then clog that exit hole and you get a mini volcano of coffee and grounds out the top of the Kcup. Will need to try other brands now to see if it is only the 1850s manufacturing problem or if it is some other error internally. Have had this unit for several years now. **Q: What is the tallest travel mug that will fit?** A: My ‘Contigo’ travel mug is 7.75” tall. It fits under the K-cup side just fine. I think it has a14 oz. capacity. When I fill the K-cup reservoir with my travel mug, the water comes right to the top. It works fine.
