How bad was the burn, a friend was using a street flare he turned into me and pressed the burning end into my arm, rinsed with cool water until mom showed up with Nupercainal. Numbed it and never had any other issues with the burn. So I keep it as a first aid cream as well. But you should always go to the doctor with any serious burns. I am not recommending that you use this for any other reason other than described on the box.
