This product is what it says it is. Works well. When power is applied this relay will allow the load to run after the timer runs out. The time is adjusted by rotating a dial. When power is turn off the load goes off immediately. Sequence repeats.

I have used these kind of devices to protect my outside AC unit in the past. The ICM102 DOM Timer does what it is designed to do. It comes with a schematic, so you know how to wire the device in your Control system. You separate the yellow wire, wire nuted to the thermostat wire coming to the AC unit and place a stacon connector on the wire you separated from the thermostate wire. You simply get a spare wire, put a stacon connector to one end of the wire and wire nut the other end of the spare wire back on the thermostat wire. Plug the wires into the device where indicated on the supplied schematic, set the timer to the minute you want the AC unit to wait after a brownout occurs and you are protected from brownouts.

This product works as 24VAC (or 120-240VAC if you cut the jumper wire between the two connectors) Delay-on-Make timer but people often do not understand how these work. A Delay-on-Make timer will delay power to the load (what you are supplying power to) for 1.8s to 10min from when power is supplied to the timer and the power will go off when power to the timer is turned off. This means that the duration of power to the load will be equal to power to the timer minus the delay. So if power to the timer is 10min and the delay is 1min then power to the load will be 9min. It is rated at 1.5A and initial rush up to 15A (<1s). I have attached a pic of the instructions. If you need a delay timer which powers the load when power is applied to the timer and then goes off after a specified delay (kind of the opposite of this timer) then you need a different product and the best for the price is HeroNeo® 12v Home Automation Delay Timer Control Switch Module Digital Display LED . This is perhaps the easiest way to stagger start systems that use slave relays. It's hard to set a precise time delay but fine to get past the inrush current of one motor before starting another.

I'm using it to delay my spa pump while the valve actuators turn to the correct postion. I just ran it in series on the coil hot wire to the pump relay.

Works great. Timer is very accurate. Provides Delay on Make so know what you’re trying to accomplish before choosing this function timer. As stated, it’s not a Delay on Break. Good value.

Easy to replace and to configure .very accurate and repeatable .I set a 4 ton unit to 6 minutes .No more rapid cycling issues
