It probably depends on how long you intend to keep the bottles in between Coravin uses. If it's short-term, it probably could stay at room temp but for longer-term wines you want to keep, we think refrigeration is necessary. **Q: Tienes repuesto de aguja que se me rompió?** A: Aún no me ha llegado la mía **Q: What is the difference/advantage of the $300 model (6) vs. the single one for $100?** A: When you look at the Coravin systems comparisons you can see that the $100 model (Pivot) conserves wines up to 4 weeks and the Timeless model ($250+) conserves wines up to 3 years. That is one of the differences. The Pivot model you have to remove the cork and use the provided stopper to press the pivot thru it to pour wine, whereas the Timeless model you keep the cork in and its a needle that goes thru the cork for pouring. Both uses argon gas that can get expensive overtime but if you are a wine lover/collector it is worth the expense. **Q: I just replaced my first cartridge and the second cartridge won't dispense air. The pressure is very faint.
