I installed it on my iphone 5 and later that day I tried to make a call. The reception was very bad. I thought it was just bad coverage. Later that same day I noticed my phone dropping in and out. Where I had two bars before I now had a notification that it was ...searching... for a cell tower. I did a quick search for the location of the inside antenna on this model and discovered it was located very close to the frame of the outer shell. I then slowly slid my phone in and out of the trigger case and watched the as the coverage bars were reduced to zero. My guess is that the metal in the case is blocking the signal. To bad too, the case design is exceptional. Perhaps they can replace a portion of the case with plastic to alleviate this shortcoming.
