Was a nice addition to my 80's road bike project. Almost 5 stars and certainly would be if one of two things was prominently mentioned in the description or one design change was made.On a bike with down tube shifters it'd be just about perfect. It's solid, easy to install and looks good. However, on a bike with stem mounted shifters you will have to relocate the shifters which will quite probably require more purchases. Not a big deal and creates a reason for more wrenching so probably not a big deal if you are expecting it.If the adapter was longer or made with shifter lugs it would also work without the need for relocating.
