Two ways of supplying powere slectable Battery powered The current of the alarm clock is about 3.2mA in the daytime/light condition. The current is about 0.6mA in the evening/light condition and the average current is about 2mA. Example: 18000mAH alkaline battery can make the alarm clock last for about 375 days. ( batteries not include) Power supply The clock designed with a USB connector allows you to power it with 5V adapter .(current power bank cannot supply power) Big display and red digitals large LED display with large red numbers makes it really easy to read from any angle. Bought this to be able to easily see what time it is in a large bright room. I have it running on the batteries and haven't needed to replace them yet and its been a few months. I would have liked to see it come with a wire and power adapter to run on 120 but I'm not going to complain with how many unused ones usually come with things.

Everything i expected with the only exception being i would have liked if the bright mode as a bit brighter. Not suited for rooms with direct sunlight as it can get harder to read at distance. In other lighting conditions it works well.
