    Great book for new comers to retail industry

I spent most of my professional sales career in B2B selling, this is my first book about retail industry. I found quite informative, easy to read and understand and indeed made me appreciate the science and effort behind store design and merchandising.I recommend it for any newcomer to retail industry like me. I will use the knowledge I acquire in my sales training courses in the context of sales & marketing integration which is still a challenge in B2B world.

    Poor print quality! Super small print!

I was excited to receive this book.  Opened it as soon as it arrived and was completely disappointed in the quality of the print.  The font size is very small and the illustrations are poor in print quality.  How the price of $30 is justified, I don't know... Considering a return...  Not a fan of digital books, but may try that...may not..  At this price, should be hardcover with color illustrations..

Excelent book for the small and big store owner. Mostly for people that want to change their image store by fixing some of the common mistakes that most make. It covers a lot of aspects of design and customer perception and most important it gives you an alternative of designing the ideal store, not by hiring or spending a lot of people and money but by doign some "common sense" changes and additions that for sure will attract more loyal customers. For the seasoned store owners it reinforces "gut feeling" moves and adds some novel ones. In general, an easy to read book with some good meat to it.
