It basically came set up so there wasn’t anything I had to do except position the pencil holder. It took a bit to get the perfect position for the pencil holder, but once I had it I put some washi tape to know where to place the holder. The first time using it there was an oder but it went away. You do need to order the letters separately but it comes with a roll of silver and gold foil. Overall very pleased with this machine!
