In fact I really don’t like it at all. I decided to buy another orchid soil bag at my garden center and only use a little of this one mixed in. The chunks are way too big and I doubt I will do much with any of it except maybe put it in the bottom of a pot to help with water drainage. **Q: is this mix ok for lady slipper orchids?** A: Not sure about lady Slippers. But the orchid I have was dying. I repoted with this mix and it is growing new leaves. There is another orchid that is blooming and I plan to repot with this mixture as well. As you know orchids get moisture through the mix and this mixture has no soil. I soak the medium once a week. But spray the plant mid week.
