This cable did the trick and I mostly use it just for that, 3m is plenty as with my Rift-S I had to tuck the cable away under the computer's case. It worked out of the box and it seems very sturdy, of course ensure you use the velcro provided to secure it to the headset when in use to avoid torque force on the USB port on the Quest. Review: Gute Verbindung, gutes Kabel - Macht was es soll und das auch gut. - Man muss nur drauf achten, dass man das Teil auch an einen USB 3.0 Port schließt. ## Features - Compatible with Meta/Oculus Quest 2 Accessories: Syntech link cable connects Oculus Quest 2 to a gaming PC so that you can play all Oculus Rift apps and Steam VR games, providing perfect PC VR experience. The color and design of the cable match perfectly with the Quest 2 headset. - Super Cost-effective: Syntech Link Cable combining the two advantages of length and excellent connection performance will make you feel good value for money. As a reminder, the charging current will decrease as the cable length increases, so we do not recommend using this cable to charge your Quest 2. Additionally, to enhance your VR experience, we do not recommend using this cable when the Quest 2 is at a low battery level. - Excellent Link Performance: This cable supports USB 3.0 transmission speed. Stable and fast data synchronization working with sustained and reliable current brings you a smooth VR gaming experience. The attached Velcro strap fixes the cable and Quest 2 to prevent disconnection during movement. Note: When connecting to your computer, please insert this USB 3.0 cable into the USB A 3.1/ USB A 3.0 port. - Flexible and Comfortable: This 16 ft long cable gives you maximum freedom of movement without being restricted while immersed in the VR world. At the same time, considering the users' experience, the regular USB C port is especially changed to L Shaped design to enhance customers’ comfort. - Quality Assurance and Customer Service: This link cable can bend freely without breaking by using durable materials, having good flexibility, stretch resistance, and abrasion resistance. We provide a USER GUIDE tutorial to help you use this cable smoothly and provide solutions for some of the problems you may encounter while using Oculus Link. In addition, Syntech provides LIFETIME WARRANTY and Friendly Customer Service Support for this link cable. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B098399X91 | | Best Sellers Rank | #26,592 in Electronics ( See Top 100 in Electronics ) #19 in Mobile Virtual Reality (VR) Headsets | | Brand | Syntech | | Brand Name | Syntech | | Cable Type | USB | | Colour | White | | Compatible Devices | Personal Computer | | Compatible Phone Models | No Compatible Phone Models | | Connectivity Technology | USB | | Connector Gender | Male-to-Male | | Connector Type | USB, USB 3.0 | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 19,096 Reviews | | Data Transfer Rate | 5 Gigabits Per Second | | Ethernet Cable Category | Cat 6 | | Frequency | 60 Hz | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor | | Item Shape | Round | | Manufacturer | Syntech | | Model Number | Mark32 | | Number Of Pins | 24 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Data Transfer, Fast Charging, High Speed | | Outer Material Type | Nylon | | Part Number | M32 | | Recommended Uses For Product | Connecting Oculus Quest 2 to a gaming PC for VR gaming and data transfer | | Special Feature | Data Transfer , Fast Charging, High Speed | | Specification Met | UL | | UPC | 769293113179 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Wattage | 50 Watts | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Syntech - **Cable Type:** USB - **Compatible Devices:** Personal Computer - **Connector Type:** USB, USB 3.0 - **Special Feature:** Data Transfer, Fast Charging, High Speed ## Images ![Link Cable Compatible with Oculus Quest 2 (16 FT), High-Speed PC Data Transfer, Fast Charging USB 3.0 to USB C Cable for VR Headset and Gaming PC - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71ZAl+G6m0L.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: do I need a gaming pc or could I just plug this in to my windows 10 laptop and start playing?** A: You will need a beefy computer in order to take advantage of this, because when you connect this to your computer it shows you what your computer is doing, instead of running it directly from the headset. **Q: So I can use this cable plugged directly into a wall socket through a converter?** A: This kind of cable isnt really made to charge the headset, so plugging it into a wall will charge it, but the cable’s life wont last for very long because thats not its purpose. But yeah you /can/ just plug it into the wall but thats not really what its meant for **Q: Is this cable heavy? I want a cable that is flexible to use.** A: No, you can’t even feel it **Q: I want this link, but he looks flimsy, why this isn't made by alloys of aluminum?** A: I don't know what metals they decided to use. But, I can tell you that it is not flimsy. It's very well made. Just keep in mind one end is the standard USB type and the other is an ANGLED C-type. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works out of the box, 3m is actually perfect length for most PCVR uses outside AirLink *by S***O on 29 December 2022* Airlink works fine with most titles I have used, of course PC is connected to the router via LAN, in my case is a provider's router AC non WiFi 6, of course the Quest is connected using the 5g frequency whilst the rest of the house stuff is on the 2.4 (this is basics), however when playing PCVR such as Flight Simulator the performance were not enough especially considering the sim streams most of its data.
