I love these sheaths. Very well made. Gerber makes a knife that is PERFECT with this sheath. I have an orange handled Gerber in the Brown sheath and a Black handled Gerber in the black sheath. I love them both. These sheaths are more perfect for the Gerber than the sheath that comes with them. Excellent sheaths, perfect for the Gerber.

we ordered this sheath for our daughters hunting knife. Awesome item.

First, I am not convinced this is actually leather. Not even "genuine leather," which is ground up leather shavings that are bonded with a type of rubber cement. No, this seems a lot more like straight up TPU to me, but it feels good and is nicely done. The outside is smooth and supple, and the inside has a more sueded texture. I'm fairly indifferent to a well-done TPU vs. "genuine leather" so I'm not too disappointed there (though unhappy about false advertising if it is indeed entirely TPU). I got it (5" version) for my Cold Steel Master Hunter. It fits that knife pretty well - snug, but no so snug you feel you have to force it in or out. The snap does not close around the handle, unfortunately. There was a reviewer on here with pictures of his knife with a 3.25" handle circumference and he was just barely able to get it snapped. My Master Hunter has a 3-5/8" diameter on the handle and there is no way I can get it snapped. Fortunately I have snaps and a punch and setting anvil from my leather crafting days, and there is enough room next to the male snap stud to add another, thereby increasing the max diameter of the handle whilst being able to close the snap shut. Fortunately it's snug enough for now without being snapped shut. I can't speak for reliability yet. I don't really carry my knives on my waistband, so I'm not overly concerned about belt loops breaking, but it seems like plenty of reviewers have had problems with that. If it ever fails, I'll just use this sheath as a pattern and make myself a legit, top-grain leather sheath. The design and pattern on this at least are very good. Functional and attractive.

This is a beautiful sheath, real leather, soft and good quality; sheath is thick, but bulky, appears to be stitched well. Will be ordering another one for second knife.

The leather sheath could be worn at a horizontal position with my Uncle Henry Staglon Fixed-Blade Knife. But with one leather strap the weight of the handle would cause the knife and sheath to dip. Furthermore, the one strap would hang loosely from my belt, wearing it at the "5 - 6 o'clock position." When getting into the driver's seat of my car, the handle would frequently get caught into the side of the seat, and then sheathed blade would jab into my back. When worn at the left handed position in the "7-8 o'clock position," the sheathed blade would get caught by the side of the seat. I have yet to try to wear it in the front, "10 o'clock position," or "2 o'clock position," but I afraid it would too high profile and scare people. To summarize, the sheath is too flimsy and does not "hug" my belt compared to my vertical phone holster (Gentlestache Leather Cell Phone Holster with Belt Clip, Universal Pouch Large Phone). Or my horizontal phone holster (Topstache Leather Phone Holster with Belt Loop, Magnetic Closure Cell Phone Pouch Card Holder Wallet). Or my ZUNE LOTOO Tactical Survival Knife Fixed Blade Knife with Sheath D2 Steel G10 Handle Outdoor Tactical Knives for Men Camping Hiking Hunting Knife.

Don’t hesitate to purchase this sheath. The quality is excellent. Beautiful.

I bought the 5". Fits my knife nicely. The clip is a bit tight, but I am able to resnap it with a single hand. I expect it to form to the handle in time and it be a perfect fit. I wore it on my belt for 24hrs with no issues. Never accidentally opened or felt cumbersome while driving or moving about. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Very nice leatherwork, I really liked it. However, the clasp strip/tap with the snap is short. Too short for the handle of the 1920 Navy Mark 1 knife I wanted to use it for.

I'm very happy with the look and quality of this item and it almost fits my knife perfectly even though it wasn't completely designed for it. I would definitely buy this brand again.

Yes, you need this. I absolutely love this sheath. It's very great quality. It's soft leather too. It fits both of my Morakniv's perfectly. This is the 4" sheath. The snap is sturdy as well. It's going to be a lot more comfortable to wear and carry than the plastic Morakniv cases. I highly recommend buying it. It was fast delivery to New Brunswick, Canada. It was packaged very professionally too. I can guarantee that I'll be buying a second one at some point for my other Morakniv. I would give it 10/5 stars if that was possible!
