sodastream White Carbonating Bottle 0.5L

Works with my soda stream. Good size for personal use.

Love the color. Took a couple tries to learn to not overflow when first using, but now it's easy to do. This is the size I needed to sparkle the amount of water I drink in a day/week. They are light weight, versatile and made of very good quality and fit in my lunch bag.

I really just needed extra lids, but buying the two smaller bottles with their own lids was cheaper than 2 more lids for my larger bottle. The lids fit both sizes. Now I don't have to carry a large bottle when I leave the house. One thing to add - they do scratch easily. I used a bottle brush that fit inside these and one of the bottles now has scratches. But, no worries.

I didn't know these half liter bottles existed for the Soda Stream until I saw these on Amazon. They are a great alternative to the full liter bottles and perfect for travel. If you're as addicted to Soda water as I have become since acquiring my Soda Stream, this is a great addition to your water storage system. they work just the same as the full size bottles and keep those bubbles nice and fresh.

I bought these 0.5L Sodastream carbonating bottles to go with our Sodastream Sparkling Water Maker. They work great for that. The only thing I do not like about them is it is hard to get the water out of them after washing. The inside of the bottle takes quite a while to air dry, plus water gets in the bottom portion of the bottle through 2 drilled holes and is quite difficult to get out. See photo. A few notes: * These bottles are hand wash only (not dishwasher safe). * These bottles have expiration dates (I believe due to the pressurized nature of the beverages). * I do not recommend taking these bottles filled with fizzy water to drink when driving. When opened, the beverage is likely to overflow and go all over the place! (I learned the hard way.) * Per the packaging, these bottles are made in Israel: “This product is produced by Jews and Arabs working side-by-side in peace and harmony.” Interesting! I have never seen a statement like that before on any product I have purchased. Again, see photo.

When I first got these, I couldn't connect them to the sodastream and was worried there were different sizes and I somehow hadn't noticed. Not sure what the trouble was because they ARE the correct size. I don't think there's more than one size for a sodastream. The full sized bottle that comes with the sodastream is usually what I'll use when I want to enjoy it during the day, but the smaller sized ones are perfect for meals or to share with friends. They are just as well built as the rest of the sodastream and being diswasher safe is an added bonus.

I still have my SodaStream bottle and they very much dishwasher safe. My bottles never melted on me in my dishwasher. I keep my water with me at all times.

These help me ensure that I drink two liters of water daily. I use them, at home and when out and about, in lieu of stainless steel bottles -- they are a bit easier to carry and I like that they're recyclable. They last about three years and have a printed expiration date.
