Review: True to size, stable, and well-made - After buying terrible roller blades I decided to get some skates instead. I’m not necessarily a beginner, as I used to skate when I was younger, but I’m finding myself having to re-learn to skate. I wear a US women’s size 9 shoe, I ordered a size 9 and it’s a perfect fit! As others have said, the bearings were way too tight upon arrival, but they’re very easy to loosen/tighten (I used a 1/2in socket wrench). The wheels are smooth and the skates are stable and comfortable. Really the only gripe I have is that the brakes are made of plastic and not rubber. You’ll probably want to get some outdoor wheels for these if you plan to skate outside. The stock wheels are completely smooth plastic. They work just fine inside! I’d recommend these to beginners and seasoned skaters alike. Super cute and a great price too. So happy I purchased these! Review: Best skates for beginner learning - I really wanted to get into skating but didn’t know if I would like it, so I didn’t want to spend much. I decided to purchase these as my beginner skates. I have used these skates for around 2 months and they are the BEST! They are perfect for beginners, sturdy, and the wheels are for both indoor/outdoor. I have been skating with my dog (as pictured) and they are truly amazing skates. Now that I’m getting better, I do notice that the wheels don’t move super fast, so these skates are really perfect for learning rather than for long term skates. Note that they don’t have a heel like most skates, so less ankle support, but they are comfortable for me. They were literally perfect for learning skating and I feel I got my money’s worth and more. Now that I know I like skating, I’ll get some name brands and spend more than $50. But I highly recommend these for learning or if you want to try skating to see if it’s for you. These skates got me into skating which is one of the best decisions I have made, they give me so much joy. Thank you so much!!!! 10/10. ## Features - Freestyle comfort fit boot with padded lining, reinforced heel support, and lace closure - RTX Pro Chassis has real trucks and cushions for precision turning - 56mm Urethane wheels work on multiple surfaces - Smooth rolling G-Force 608ZB (carbon) bearings - Women's U.S. shoe sizes ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B092PYMFY3 | | Best Sellers Rank | #11,423 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #2 in Roller Derby Skates | | Brand | Roller Derby | | Brand Name | Roller Derby | | Closure Type | Lace-Up | | Color | White/Mint | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 4,338 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00049288731282 | | Included Components | Skates | | Item Highlight | Quad roller skates with supportive boots, durable chassis and smooth-rolling urethane wheels for indoor or outdoor skating. | | Item Type Name | Roller Star 600 Women's Roller Skates | | Item Weight | 6 pounds | | Manufacturer | Roller Derby | | Manufacturer Part Number | U731WW-08 | | Material Type | Polypropylene | | Model Number | U731WW-08 | | Number of Items | 2 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Pattern | Solid | | Size | US Size 08 | | Sole Material | Polypropylene | | Special Size | Standard | | UPC | 049288731282 | | Warranty Description | 30 Day Manufacturer | | Wheel Material | Polyurethane | | Wheel Size | 5.6 centimeters | | Wheel Type | Quad Skate Wheel | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Roller Derby - **Closure Type:** Lace-Up - **Color:** White/Mint - **Item Weight:** 6 pounds - **Material:** Polypropylene - **Size:** US Size 08 - **Sole Material:** Polypropylene - **Wheel Material:** Polyurethane - **Wheel Size:** 5.6 centimeters - **Wheel Type:** Quad Skate Wheel ## Images ![Roller Star 600 Women's Roller Skates - White/Mint - Size 08 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71iUb3whw2S.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: If I am a size 8.5 what size should I order 8 or 9 ?** A: 8 runs very big.
