We have refrigerator full of ethnic food with alot of garlic and other spices in them, and it does stink up the box.I'm finding that about 80% of the stench(?) is gone - which is no small feat, considering the intensity of the smell that was present before.However, i'm only giving it 4 stars because of the price. For $20, i would give it 5 stars and would buy some more. For $36, i'm a little hesitant to pull the trigger. All I've done is make sure I keep the sponge wet (I just pour a little water into the cup several times a week), and it does what it's supposed to do.
