So i got my mk.2 version stream deck a few days ago but the box doesn't say mk.2 did i get a wrong one?

If there is a detachable USB-C cable, then it's MK.2. If it has a non-detachable USB-A cable, then it's MK.2

I use many txt sentences when programming my stage lights. Can you use this to type in a txt field? Program button to type lets say "Blackout"?
