In reading the reviews before I purchased a few stated bad blade angles this was the case for mine. I put the angle to 15° which works for my needs from this blade. I have also found the blade release to be rather "stiff". I started with COLD STEEL in 1999 with a Voyager Tanto, this was well before the sold to the boys in Texas. It is a heafty rugged knife. It hasn't failed in any task in the field. **Q: Is aus 10a steel a high quality blade material? how is it compared to cpm3v steel?** A: Apples and oranges, AUS 10A is a stainless steel in the 440C class, while CPM 3V is a high alloy tool steel.
